The Sandford Genealogical Quilt

Sewn by Val Sandford 2007

Sandford Genealogical Quilt

Val Sandford was inspired by the genealogical researches on this website and by the 200 year old patchwork quilt made by Anna Maragretta Brereton (nee Lloyd) and now in a Norwich Museum, to create this patchwork quilt. The figures around the periphery include all the ancestors with their dates who are listed on this website's home page, together with the families of Michael, Angela and John.

The inaugural viewing was held on 1 July 2007, and here the quilt is being displayed by Julie Sandell and her daughter Natalie: respectively great great great great and great great great great great grand daughters of Anna Margaretta.
